Who teaches Tae Kwon Do?
All classes are conducted under the supervision of Grand Master Byung Kyu Lee–9th Dan Black Belt.
Grand Master Lee is assisted by Black Belt students 3rd Dan Black Belt or higher.
Grand Master Lee, who is associated with the World Tae Kwon Do Federation, has been practicing Tae Kwon Do full-time for more than fifty-five years.
To date Grand Master Lee has achieved:
- Super Class International Referee and Technical Advisor of the World Tae Kwon Do Federation
- Past chairman of the Korean Tae Kwon Do Association Referee Committee
- Head Coach of the Canadian National Tae Kwon Do Team for the Good Will Games in 1994
- Past Chairman of the Canadian National Tae Kwon Do Association Referee Committee
- Past president of the BC Tae Kwon Do Association
- Chairman of Referees for The 5th Military World Tae Kwon Do Championship.
- Appointed as member of the Kukkiwon Advisory Committee.
Grand Master Lee opened the Abbotsford School in 1988. The International Olympic Committee accepted Tae Kwon Do as an official event of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
